30-Minute Vegetarian Grilling
Meredith Press, $12.95, hard
Looks like a hardbound glossy magazine. Concentrates on simple recipes for those
who don't eat meat.
Grilling for Dummies
Marie Rama and John Mariani
IDG Books Worldwide Inc., $19.99 soft
Starts with the most basic information and is organized so that you don't need to
read what you don't need to learn.
Born to Grill
Cheryl Alters Jamison and Bill Jamison
Harvard Common Press, $27.95 hard
The Jamisons won a James Beard cookbook award for their barbeque treatise called
Smoke and Spice, and extend their favorite topic here.
All on the Grill
Michael McLaughlin
HarperCollins, $22.50 hard
McLaughlin is one of those grilling aficionados who wants you to cook everything
on the grill. The book includes a number of menus that suggest how to plan entire
meals around the grill.
