Ward Sutton began his comic strip "Schlock 'n' Roll"
in the fall of 1995, and also authored the strip "Ward's
Cleaver" from 1990-1997. He currently lives in New York City
and has been sporadically contributing a new strip, "Newyorkland"
to The Village Voice. He illustrates for magazines such
as Rolling Stone, Esquire and New York TimesSunday
Magazine. He designed the stage and site banners for this year's
HORDE festival and has also created rock 'n' roll posters for
bands like Pearl Jam, Pavement and Beck. He is on a constant quest
for the perfect banana smoothie. (See page 42.)
